Raise your hand if you stayed awake past midnight browsing through your social media posts at least once in the past week or so! I believe there are many of us who get lost going through the endless stream of pictures, announcements, and updates from our virtual friends or our favorite celebrities. We end up going to bed much later than we planned, and we end up waking up even more tired. And for what? We lose hours and hours looking at other people’s “perfect” lives, whereas we fail to notice we’ve neglected our own lives.
